Why I've Never Been More Optimistic About American Manufacturing As I look out at the rusting hulks of abandoned factories that once dotted the American landscape, it's easy to assume that the country's manufacturing sector has seen its best days.

The past few decades have been marked by a steady decline in domestic production, with companies seeking cheaper labor and more lenient regulations abroad.

However, I've never been more optimistic about American manufacturing. Advancements in technology and changing consumer demand are driving the resurgence of domestic production.
